Thank you. Coming from one as attuned to aesthetics as your work demands you to be, the comment is especially gratifying.

Thank you so much. I really ought to find out what sort of rose it is one of these days. I do love the color, though.

Well goodness, what a nice compliment from you! You just made my day, thank you :)

Very pretty :) I've seen it before, obviously, but I had no idea you'd taken the picture yourself
You should submit your artist's comments as a separate deviation, it reads almost like a haiku or something ;)

:nod:Almost. Thank you for thinking the picture was commercial before. As for submitting the comment separately, I'm not altogether sure it can stand alone, but thanks again.

I can't decide which I like better, the rose or the haiku :)

Very good shot, I love the variations of color you managed to capture, it is both subtle and dramatic at the same time. SLR?

Thank you so much! I experience the world as a synthesis with images calling forth words and words creating music and music evoking colours, so to be told that both the image and the words touched you is a joy to me.

Actually, this shot was made with a consumer-grade Nikon digital camera, and I can take little credit for it; serendipity ruled that day and things just came together.
